John Rice is a 1987 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree in Commercial Photography. His interest in photography began in grade school and has been the primary focus of his life ever since.
After graduating, John worked for Minolta Corporation for eight years, traveling the country conducting over 100 photography classes from Memphis, Tennessee to Seattle, Washington, as well as consulting such organizations as NASA and Apple Computer on early electronic imaging. He also returned to RIT to educate students and faculty on the technology.
In 1994 John returned to his hometown of Ft. Collins, Colorado and opened Rice Photography, specializing in Architectural and general Commercial Photography, Ad Layout and Web Design.
